The Omaha Symphony and Film Streams have partnered to present the life and work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart through two distinct, but complementary, mediums: film and live orchestral music. In doing so, both organizations hope to educate and inspire community members through the power of legendary art.
Film Streams will screen the Oscar-winning film Amadeus April 24-30 at the Ruth Sokolof Theater. To kick off the screening, Omaha Symphony music director Thomas Wilkins will introduce the film and lead an interactive Q & A forum on opening night. Amadeus is the perfect introduction to the Omaha Symphony’s Mozart and Salieri concert on May 9th, which will feature some of Mozart’s most popular compositions.
*See AMADEUS and receive 25% off tickets to the Omaha Symphony's Mozart and Salieri concert at the Holland Center on May 9! Bring your ticket stub to the Omaha Symphony Ticket Office or use the special promo code (given at the screening) online or via phone.
